“Communicate with Confidence” is a dynamic storytelling workshop designed to help professionals connect more authentically, communicate more clearly, and deliver messages that resonate. Through practical exercises drawn from storytelling, improvisation, and public speaking, participants will discover one essential truth: everyone has a story...and every story has a point.

In this interactive session, participants will learn how to uncover meaningful stories from their own experiences and shape them into compelling narratives that support business goals, leadership communication, sales, team culture, presentations, networking, and client relationships. The workshop explores how the same story can be adjusted and reframed for different audiences, helping professionals communicate with greater intention, empathy, and impact.

Whether speaking to customers, colleagues, stakeholders, or the public, strong storytellers create connection...and connection builds trust. Participants will leave with practical tools to craft stories that engage audiences emotionally while reinforcing a clear professional message.

Our Speaker: Will Luera 

Will Luera is the Producing Artistic Director of Lifeline Productions, Director of Training at DreamLarge, Director of Big Bang Improv, and serves as the Artistic Director Emeritus of ImprovBoston. He is the co-creator of Healing Moments for Alzheimer’s, a non-profit organization that provides education, advocacy, and ministry for persons with dementia and their caregivers. He is a conflict mediator with a focus on EDIA issues in the workplace. He is the former Simulation Coordinator at Real Academy, specializing in immersive simulation training for human helpers, offering a profound opportunity to further integrate improvisation into impactful training methodologies. He sits on the boards of A Head Above, a nonprofit focused on post-incarceration employment, and Miss Sarasota Softball, an organization that empowers young women through educational-athletic programs. Will was also a part of the 2022 cohorts of Leadership Sarasota and Art Equity and the 2023 cohort of the Gulf Coast Leadership Institute. Will tours globally as an improv comedy actor, instructor, and director, and performs and teaches regularly all across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia.
