A discussion of “The Golden Question” provides some direction that allows one to review what is really important to themselves and their family, review the reasons that they initially became a business owner and to see the business as a vehicle to allow the owner to achieve the goals that are most important. This discussion provides a review of the business owners goals in terms of Income, Lifestyle, Wealth and Equity. These terms have been used by The Entrepreneur’s Source for over 20 years dealing with thousands of clients. The challenge to think differently about the purpose of one’s business can provide the impetus to change one’s thinking, identify strengths and weaknesses and provide a template for reinvigorating their business with the drive to accomplish true self sufficiency.

Presenter Bob Melberth has owned three franchise businesses and worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs over the last 38 years in the hospitality and franchising industries. Bob has held officer level positions with McDonald’s Inc., Wendy’s International, Popeyes Chicken and others. Bob has been a SCORE Mentor for over 15 years and brings a perspective from the ownership, corporate and franchisee experience. Bob strives to live a relevant life by helping others succeed.
