3,000 Gallons in 24 Hours: Interstate Products – Sarasota, Florida Mobilizes with JURA for Critical Drinking Water Relief in Jamaica after Hurricane M
SARASOTA, FL — October 30, 2025 – When communities face crisis, the speed of humanitarian aid often determines its impact. This week, due to the CAT 5 Hurricane Melissa, Interstate Products, Inc. successfully expedited the delivery of a critical 3,000-gallon water storage bladder and transport tank to the Jamaica United Relief Association (JURA), a proven 501(c)(3) non-profit, enabling rapid deployment to a community in Jamaica in urgent need of clean water.
The partnership story highlights an all-hands-on-deck effort. After connecting with JURA representatives Sunday before the storm hit Jamaica, Interstate Products, Inc. teams worked quickly to prepare the unit. By Monday, the 3,000-gallon collapsible Drinking water bladder storage tank was secured, crated and loaded onto a transport truck, ensuring immediate dispatch to JURA’s for shipment by them overseas. This swift logistical coordination reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to getting essential resources where they are needed most.
The donation is one of two 3,000-gallon water storage bladder tanks Interstate Products, Inc. was able to commit quickly to organizations aiding in the Jamaican relief and recovery efforts.
"We knew we could do at least something to help. Watching our teams mobilize so quickly with JURA reaffirmed the value of truly responsive partnerships in a crisis," said Rich Eisenberg, a Founder and President of Interstate Products. "We were thrilled to entrust this unit to JURA, given their efficient dispatch network and decades of experience in the region. We are honored to contribute to their long-standing mission."
The tank is now part of JURA’s deployment pipeline and will go to a group or community in Jamaica on the ground whose water infrastructure has been severely impacted. JURA’s expertise will work with people on the ground in Jamaica providing a long-term source of safe drinking water access. The Crated tank is all set for export shipment. Once Deployed the Drinking water bladder (this is one is called an Onion Tank style) unfolds to over an 11 x 11 area and provides 3,000 gallons of drinking water with instructions to help keep the drinking water safe.
