Opening June 1, 2026 near Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Dante Family Medicine was founded by Dr. Sarah Dante and her husband, Mike Dante, with a vision of creating a physician-led practice centered on relationships, accessibility and the belief that medicine should still feel personal. The practice will provide comprehensive primary care, urgent care and wellness services in a welcoming environment designed to put patients at ease.
“We wanted to create the kind of practice where people don’t feel like they’re being processed,” says Dr. Dante. “Healthcare has become so rushed and transactional for many patients. You wait weeks for an appointment, sit in a waiting room, then sometimes feel like you’re out the door before you’ve even fully explained what’s wrong. We wanted to build something different.”
Dante Family Medicine is a patient-centered healthcare practice proudly serving the Sarasota community by providing Primary Care and Urgent Care in one convenient location. We care for patients of all ages, offering comprehensive healthcare for adults, seniors, and children. Walk-ins are welcome, and we accept most insurance plans to make quality healthcare accessible and convenient.
Our services include annual wellness exams, preventive screenings, pediatric care, chronic disease management, sick visits, women's health, weight loss programs, medication management, and treatment of acute illnesses and minor injuries. We also offer on-site X-ray services, blood draw laboratory testing, EKGs, and IV therapy, allowing patients to receive diagnosis and treatment without visiting multiple facilities. In addition, we proudly serve Workers’ Compensation patients, providing prompt evaluation and care for work-related injuries.
