Mote Marine Laboratory is an independent, nonprofit, marine science institution dedicated to advancing marine and environmental sciences, education and public outreach, leading to new discoveries, revitalization and sustainability of our oceans, and greater public understanding of our marine resources. Mote translates and transfers scientific knowledge through its public Mote Aquarium, open 365 days per year: mote.org/visit.
