Dr. Derrick DeSilva, internationally recognized physician, scientist and educator, will speak at Senior Friendship Centers as part of its BeWell! Health & Wellness Lecture Series on Oct. 14 and Nov. 4, from 5-6 p.m. at 1888 Brother Geenen Way, Sarasota. The event is presented by Senior Friendship Centers Alumni Association.

He will speak on “Navigating Personal Wellness Within the Healthcare System.”
