Humane Society of Sarasota County is so excited to be participating with nearly 50 shelters across Florida to help find homes for 2,000 cats and dogs in one weekend!

In 2024, we found homes for 91 animals during the event. Help us hit 100 in 2025!

The shelter will be open special hours for the event:

Friday, June 27 | 12pm-7pm

Saturday, June 28 | 10am-4pm

SUNDAY, June 29 | 10am-4pm

No appointment needed! All animals are available first come, first served at the shelter.

*Other fees may apply. All dogs must go home wearing a leash and collar, and all cats must go home in a carrier. Bring your own, or we have plenty of affordable options in our retail store.
