Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast proudly announces its 2025 Big Brother and Big Sister of the Year: Trenton Reichling and Amariah Dawes. These exceptional volunteers have made a lasting difference in the lives of their Littles, embodying the true spirit of mentorship through their guidance, compassion, and unwavering support.

The Big Brother and Big Sister of the Year awards celebrate volunteers who go above and beyond to support and inspire their Little Brothers and Little Sisters. Through their dedication, Trenton and Amariah have helped shape futures, strengthened families, and built stronger communities.

“She is one of the kindest people I know. I feel like I can go to her and talk to her about anything, and she helps me with so many things. I’m so grateful to have her in my life,” said Amariah’s Little Sister, Za'Riah.

“Trent just isn’t a Big Brother; he’s a life-changer. He’s the kind of person who listens without judgment, always honest and open, giving me space to speak freely and be myself. Trenton makes every moment feel like we are truly connected,” said Trenton’s Little Brother, Lucas.
