Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties Celebrates 20 Years of Community Leadership
Sarasota, FL (August 12, 2026)— Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties (BGCSDC) is proud to celebrate the 20th Annual IPG Leadership Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Lee Wetherington Boys & Girls Club in Sarasota. During this milestone event, BGCSDC will honor two decades of our community’s collective impact on its next generation of leaders and look ahead to the future we’re creating together.
Event proceeds will benefit BGCSDC’s award-winning Teen Programs, providing local youth with opportunities to develop leadership skills, explore career pathways, build confidence, serve their communities, and prepare for successful futures.
Throughout the morning, guests will enjoy breakfast provided by First Watch, reflect on the legacy of community leadership, and recognize Club alumni who are now making an impact across our region.
"For 20 years, the IPG Leadership Breakfast has celebrated individuals who have dedicated their time, talent, and resources to creating opportunities for young people," said Bill Sadlo, President/CEO of BGCSDC. "This milestone is more than a celebration of our past; it is a reminder that great leaders inspire those who will lead next.”
