Bridge a Life to Host 2026 Gala & Silent Auction on October 17

SARASOTA, FL — Bridge a Life will host its annual Gala & Silent Auction on Saturday, October 17, at 6:00 p.m. at The Grove Ballroom in Lakewood Ranch, bringing together community members, businesses, churches, and supporters to raise awareness and support for children and families impacted by relational trauma.

The evening will feature dinner, inspiring stories, and a silent auction while highlighting the important role the community plays in supporting foster, adoptive, and vulnerable families.

Bridge a Life is a local nonprofit serving Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties. Its mission is to provide Christ-centered hope for children with relational trauma through awareness and family support. Bridge a Life works to strengthen families through practical support, education, training, resources, and community partnerships.

Funds raised through the Gala will help Bridge a Life continue providing support and resources to families caring for children who have experienced difficult and traumatic circumstances.

Bridge a Life provides a variety of services for foster, adoptive, and kinship families, including meals, home repair assistance, childcare, education and training, financial assistance, and community-building events. Bridge a Life also partners with churches, businesses, and community organizations to create additional support for families.

The Gala is an opportunity for the broader community to learn more about the needs of vulnerable children and the families caring for them, while joining Bridge a Life in creating a community where families are supported and children have the opportunity to experience healing and hope.
