The Juice Plus+ Pickleball Championship is set to bring an exciting conclusion to a series of sporting events supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties (BGCSDC) Foundation. The event will take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Dill Dinkers Sarasota, located at 500 Tallevast Road, Suite 110, Sarasota, FL 34243.

This tournament is the final event in an annual series led by longtime BGCSDC Foundation Board member Barbara Lancer that also features the Joey Gratton Tennis Championship and The Tennis Ball.

The Juice Plus+ Pickleball Championship will include a thrilling doubles competition for local pickleball enthusiasts to showcase their skills in an action-packed atmosphere, all while supporting a fantastic cause.

“With Barbara Lancer’s leadership and support from Juice Plus+, we are excited to bring the community together for an exciting morning celebrating the sport of pickleball and raising essential funds for thousands of local youth,” said Bill Sadlo, President/CEO at Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. “This championship provides an opportunity for players to have fun and compete while supporting our mission to empower the next generation of leaders.”

The event will feature both Men's and Women's Doubles tournaments, with matches running from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registered players will compete based on their self-rated skill levels of 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0.

Registration is $50 per person and can be completed online at bit.ly/juice-plus-pickleball. Spectators are welcome to join the fun and cheer on their favorite teams.
