NOKOMIS, Fla. — Hibachi Express Nokomis invites the community to celebrate its first anniversary with a free Lion Dance Celebration on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The family-friendly event will feature a traditional Lion Dance performance, outdoor refreshments, and a morning of community celebration.

The celebration begins at 10:00 a.m. with freshly prepared snacks and refreshing lemonade available for purchase. At 11:00 a.m., guests will enjoy a traditional Lion Dance, a centuries-old cultural performance believed to bring prosperity, good fortune, and happiness. The restaurant will open for lunch at 11:30 a.m., serving its full menu of hibachi, sushi, poke bowls, boba tea, and other Japanese-inspired favorites.

As a thank-you to the community for supporting its first year in business, the first 50 guests will receive a complimentary anniversary gift bag while supplies last.

"This celebration is our way of saying thank you while sharing a meaningful cultural tradition with our neighbors.
