Sarasota, FL – July 2025 – Joel Ehrenpreis, Founder and Board President of Lifeline Productions, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Will Luera as the organization's new Executive Director. This exciting leadership transition comes on the heels of two successful world premieres, most recently Entangled, which powerfully demonstrated Lifeline's commitment to its core mission: using theater and personal storytelling to promote understanding and acceptance of mental health challenges.

Will Luera steps into this role, bringing over two decades of extensive experience as an acclaimed director, educator, and arts leader. A veteran in improvisational theater, artistic direction, and cross-cultural programming, he has previously led prominent organizations such as ImprovBoston and Florida Studio Theatre’s improv program. A passionate advocate for the power of storytelling to foster healing and inclusion, Will's leadership is set to propel Lifeline forward with his innovative vision.

Maria Schaedler-Luera, recognized for her strong community presence and respected contributions, will continue to be an invaluable part of the team as a Creative Consultant. In this vital role, Maria will continue to develop the organization's artistic and educational programming, including the creation and facilitation of new monthly community workshops and arts-and-health initiatives. Her ongoing dedication will ensure Lifeline's programs remain innovative and deeply connected to the community's needs.
