Local Yarn Café Pairs with CinéBistro to Blend Fiber and Film 

SARASOTA, FL, July 21, 2025– The Hashtag Yarn Corner, Sarasota’s favorite yarn café, is teaming up with CinéBistro to host a unique event that combines knitting, crochet, and a movie night. The event, titled “Stitch & Screen,” will take place on Wednesday, August 27th at 5:30 PM at CinéBistro in Sarasota.

Stitch and Screen invites guests to bring their knitting or crochet projects and enjoy a cozy movie night in CinéBistro’s luxury theater setting. For just $30, attendees will receive admission to the movie, a drink, and popcorn. Plus, enjoy a surprise add-on offering at the event that is a fiber-lovers’ dream.

“We wanted to create something a little bit fun and different that combines our love for knitting with a night out on the town,” said Bianca Bendraouia, owner of the Hashtag Yarn Corner. “For us, it’s all about bringing people together, and partnering with CinéBistro is such a cool way to make that happen. Great yarn, great company, and a great movie. It doesn’t get better than that!”

Guests will also get to help select the film for the evening by voting in Hashtag Yarn Corner’s Instagram Post between four fan-favorite options: “Mamma Mia,” “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” “You’ve Got Mail,” or “Letters to Juliet.”
